The Perfect Green Smoothie

After a good workout or a big night, this is your ultimate recovery smoothie.  Antioxidants from the green veggies and hydration from the coconut water will refuel your body and help eliminate toxins.

Serves: 2
Ingredients
  • 1 handful baby spinach
  • 1 handful kale leaves
  • ½ cup coconut water
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 green apple, cored and quartered
  • 1 Banana (I like frozen)
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • handful of ice
Instructions
  1. Put all ingredients in high powered blender (preferably vitamix) and mix until well blended.
